An assistant that answers only from what your site says, and shows the page each answer came from.

Your pages are the answers.
Only what you published
When your site is built, we read every page and keep a copy of what it says, and nothing else. A visitor’s question is matched against that copy in their own browser, and the passage that fits is shown with a link to the page it came from.
It says when it does not know
If nothing on your site answers the question with confidence, it says so and asks for another wording. It does not make something up, because no language model writes the answer, ours or anyone else’s, and nothing goes to an AI service when a visitor asks a question.
It hands over when asked
It does not steer anyone towards a human. When a visitor asks for one, it asks three short questions, says plainly that what they write goes to a person with their request, and then offers to pass it on.
Sites that answer to someone
Firms whose website has to be right because a regulator, an insurer or a client reads it: accountants, brokers, solicitors, clinics, estate agents, and the agencies that build their sites. If the same ten questions arrive by phone and by email, this is the part of the job it takes on.
Topics it will not answer
You can list topics it should decline even where your site has something on them, such as prices, client names or insurance details. On this site it declines eight. It also tells people it is not a person, before they ask.
No bill per question
There is no charge per question, no AI service bill and no third-party script from the assistant. You still pay for hosting, for the build and index step, for keeping your pages up to date, and for whoever answers the people who ask for a person. If we build your site, Site Assistant comes with it at no extra charge. For a site someone else built, we do not publish a price yet.
It will not chat freely
It quotes your pages and does not write new ones. It can miss a question put in an unusual way, and when the passage it finds is only the nearest one, it says that too. It needs a site we can build and index, and we set it up for you rather than you switching it on from a dashboard.
You pay as your visitors ask
Most AI chat tools charge by use. Some charge per resolution, each time the tool says it solved something. Some charge per conversation. Some sell a monthly allowance of message credits. In every case the bill grows with the number of visitors who ask.
For illustration only, not a quote from any supplier: at £1 a resolution, 200 resolved chats a month is £200 a month, and 400 is £400.
Site Assistant has no charge per question. It also cannot answer what your site does not say, and that is where a person takes over. A tool that writes free answers will answer more, and can be confidently wrong where this one says it does not know.
