amtec.ai Talk to us

Questions, answered plainly.

If the answer you need is not here, ask. We would rather tell you than have you guess.

The short version

We build tools, and we build them to order.

Two of ours are close. Either wait for one, or have us build the thing that does not exist yet.

About us

What is iamtec.ai?

An AI product company. Nothing is on sale yet. We build AI products to sell on subscription, and we build bespoke ones for businesses that need something specific. The first, Timesheet, is in use at IAM Tech, the consultancy side of our company, and open for early access. We also build websites and do cybersecurity work.

What is your relationship with IAM Tech?

Same legal entity, different business. iamtec.ai is a trading name of IAM TECH LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 09076102.

IAM Tech is an identity and access management consultancy. iamtec.ai builds and sells AI products. When one of our products ships, IAM Tech buys it on the same terms as anyone else.

Where are you based?

We are a UK company. iamtec.ai is a trading name of IAM TECH LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 09076102, with its registered office at 112 Morden Road, London, SW19 3BP.

Who will I actually deal with?

The people who build the software. There is no account manager between you and the person who writes it, and the person who answers your first email is the one who will do the work.

Products

What do you sell or offer?

Nothing is on sale yet. We build products to sell on subscription, and we build bespoke ones to order. We also build websites and do cybersecurity work.

What does Timesheet do?

You record the days you worked and the rate. It produces the invoice: sequentially numbered so a number cannot repeat, correctly dated, carrying your company and VAT details, as a PDF you can send.

Who is Timesheet for?

Anyone who bills for their time. Contractors, consultants, agencies, practices, and finance teams raising invoices on someone else’s behalf. It is not built for one trade.

What is Worker Registry?

One trustworthy record of everyone who works for you, including the people payroll never sees: contractors, temporary staff, agency workers, and anyone moving between roles. It is still being built.

Are your products live yet?

Timesheet is: it is released and in use at IAM Tech, the consultancy side of our company. It is not on sale to other businesses yet, so ask for early access. Worker Registry is still being designed and built.

When can I get Timesheet?

Ask for early access. It is in use at IAM Tech now, and other businesses are set up from early access first.

When can I subscribe?

Nothing is on sale yet. Timesheet is in use at IAM Tech and open for early access. Sign-up starts with a conversation: ask for early access and we will set you up.

Is there a free trial?

Ask us. We would rather set you up properly and find out quickly whether it fits than have you evaluate it alone for a fortnight.

Is there an implementation project?

No. If a tool needs a consultant and a training day before it earns its keep, we have built it wrong.

Pricing

What does it cost?

Products are priced monthly. Bespoke builds are quoted per piece of work, because a one-screen tool and a system that touches your accounts are not the same job.

There is no price on this site yet because we would rather quote you something true than something round. Tell us the shape of what you need and you will get a real figure.

Is there a minimum term?

Ask us before you commit and we will put the terms in writing. We will not surprise you with one afterwards.

Building something for you

Can you build a tool specific to my business?

Yes, and it is half of what we do. You tell us the job; we build the thing that does it.

The quickest start is to pick your profession on our build page and tell us what we have got wrong about your week.

Who owns what you build?

You own the result. We will put that in the agreement rather than leave it to be assumed.

Do you maintain it after it ships?

The build is priced as a piece of work, and the first month after it goes live is part of that price. That month is when problems actually surface, so we watch it closely and fix what comes up at no extra cost.

After that, support and maintenance is a separate ongoing arrangement, agreed with you and priced for what the tool needs. Changing what it does is the same: adding to it, connecting another system or reworking the rules is scoped and priced the way the build was.

How long does a build take?

It depends entirely on the job, and anyone who answers that question without hearing yours first is guessing. We will give you a real estimate once we understand the problem, and a delivery date you can hold us to.

Will it work with the systems we already use?

Usually, but this is worth checking early rather than late. Tell us what you run and we will tell you honestly what connects cleanly and what does not.

AI, plainly

How does your software actually use AI?

For the careful, repetitive work: reconciling records, producing evidence, generating documents that have to be right. Not for deciding things on your behalf.

Will it change things without asking me?

No. Our products propose; a person approves. Anything that alters a real system arrives with the evidence behind it and waits. Automation without a review gate is a faster way to be wrong.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

You see the reasoning before you approve, which is the point of showing the working. If something still slips through, tell us: a defect that reaches a customer is ours to fix, not yours to work around.

Do you train AI models on my data?

No. Your data is used to run the product for you.

Data and security

Where is my data held?

Ask us and we will tell you exactly, in writing, before you commit anything. We would rather answer that precisely for your situation than make a general claim on a web page.

What about GDPR?

We are a UK company and operate under UK GDPR. If you need a data processing agreement, ask and we will provide one.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Your records are yours. A product that holds your data hostage is not one we would want to sell.

Do you sell my data?

We do not sell your personal data or anything else you send us. It is used to reply to you and, if you become a customer, to do the work. You are not added to a mailing list you did not ask for. Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Write to hello@iamtec.ai to have yours deleted sooner.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. Send us yours, or ask and we will send ours.

Are you insured?

Yes. iamtec.ai is a trading name of IAM TECH LIMITED, and the company carries professional indemnity insurance of £2 million for any one claim and cyber liability cover of £250,000, together with public liability and employer’s liability cover. It covers our software and product work as well as consultancy.

Certificates are available on request for procurement or due diligence, and we can arrange higher cover where a contract needs a specific limit.

Working with us

How quickly do you reply?

Within one working day, from a person.

Can I speak to someone rather than type?

Yes. Book a slot on our contact page and it goes straight into the diary, or use the button in the corner of any page to ask us to call you back.

Do I have to sit through a sales call?

No. There is no discovery call and no slide deck. Tell us the job and you get a straight answer in the first reply.

Still stuck?

Ask the question that is actually stopping you.

We will answer it straight, with what we would build and what it would take.
