Accessibility
What we have done, measured rather than claimed, and what is still outstanding.
What we have done
- Keyboard first. Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline. A skip link is the first thing you reach on each page.
- Real structure. One
h1per page, no skipped heading levels, proper landmarks, and a label on every form field. - Measured contrast. Body text sits at 5.7:1 and headings at 14.6:1 against the page. Our brand colour measures 4.26:1 against white, below the 4.5:1 standard, so buttons use a deeper shade at 4.79:1 rather than using the brand colour and hoping.
- Motion is optional. Everything animated switches off under
prefers-reduced-motion, and nothing is hidden waiting for an animation to reveal it. - Touch targets are at least 44px on touch devices.
- It works without JavaScript. Every page reads and every link works with scripting disabled. Two features need it: the profession picker and the booking calendar. Both say so and offer an alternative.
What is still outstanding
Being straight about this is more useful than a compliance badge.
- The booking calendar is a third-party embed. We do not control its markup and we have not audited it. If it gets in your way, use the form on the same page or email us.
- We have tested with keyboard navigation and automated checks. We have not yet completed a full screen-reader audit of every page.
If something does not work
Tell us at hello@iamtec.ai and say what you were trying to do. We treat an accessibility problem as a defect, not a feature request, and we will tell you when it is fixed.
